| After leaving the Inmos site in Newport in 1991 to follow the Transputer process to the R1 Fab of SGS-Thomson in Agrate, Dave spent six years in Italy as a device engineer, effectively leaving Inmos in 1993. In 1997 he returned to Newport to join Newport Wafer Fab in the Process Introduction Group and rediscovered many of his old Inmos colleagues. NWL soon changed hands to become ESM and in 2001 Dave left to return to ST Microelectronics, this time as Process Integration Manager in Rousset.
As of 2009 Dave is still in Rousset with the R&D Technology Centre and is now responsible for R&D Process Engineering and Mask Data Preparation. updated Aug 09. |
