David was at Inmos from 1986-1992, working on Colour Look Up Tables and Transputer T9000. He didn't fancy the gig in Catania that STM
were offering so relocated to California. He spent from 1992-2010
at Sun Microsystems working on Sparc. Most recently he was chief
engineer of the Niagara CMT processor family. He left as a result of the Oracle acquisition. He's now at home decorating and doing the garden, whilst thinking about what to do next.
In 2009 he won the US standard class gliding contest. updated Feb 10. |
