 Richard James Bjorkling Taylor
February 16, 1952 – October 15, 2012.
Richard passed away from complications due to brain cancer at home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born in Edinburgh, Scotland to the late Robert Richardson and Martha Birgitta (Bjorkling) Taylor, and was older brother to Hamish and Kristina Taylor. He earned his PhD in Computer Science at Trinity College at Cambridge University, England in 1976 and began working for Inmos Ltd in Bristol, England in 1979 as a computer scientist .
Richard met Kim, his devoted wife, in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1982, and they married there in 1984. Richard is also survived by sons Sam and Ross and daughter Jennie.
Richard will be remembered by all who met him for his wonderful sense of humor, his zest for life, and his hard work as a Senior Software Engineer in the Bay Area.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Oak Hill Memorial Park on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at 2:00 pm to celebrate his life.
