| David left Inmos in 1991. After a year lecturing at Brighton Uni he moved back home to Lancashire. He now runs a degree course in Leisure Computing Technology (that is, lots of fun things to do with computers) and teaches people techie things like software design and various things to do with ICs. It beats working for a living! Sometimes he gets to do some real work (i.e. sitting in long boring meetings) but mostly just plays with the high tech toys and talks to students. Working in Colorado Springs (1981-82) was a super experience. Setting up the Fab at Newport was fun, as were the first few years. The later years were just hard work - but he learned a lot which has come in handy since. |
