'ö-Dzin was never on the books at Inmos, but is the name most often used now by the person Inmos folk may remember as Brian O'Donovan. Right now he's still at the Newport site, doing more-or-less what he's done for the past 15 years by way of Analysis, Design and Programming; but by the beginning of August (1999) he'll be starting work at Cardiff University in the Info Systems Department, where he'll be doing what he's done for the past 15 years by way of Analysis, Design and Programming. Not entirely a radical departure but it has the benefit of a new start - not having 15 years of stuff with his name on it - and being 15 minutes down the cycle path from home in Whitchurch. 'ö-Dzin lives with his wife Nor'dzin (married 14 years now), two children, three cats, five (at the last count) guinea pigs and countless stick insects. Both 'ö-Dzin and Nor'dzin are ordained and teach within the Aro tradition of the Nyingma school of Buddhism. More information can be found on his web site. He still has several bags, boxes and bits with 'inmos' emblazoned upon them. Glad to have been a part of it. Best wishes to all. Talks too much, writes too much, goes on ad-nauseam. Stops eventually.
