| John left the Flash Group in 1994 and went to work at DEC in Ayr, Scotland. Probably not one of his better decisions. In 1996 he left "Blighty" to work for Cypress Semiconductor in San Jose, California. After getting his "Green Card" he spent an enjoyable couple of years working at Transmeta Corp, in Santa Clara, trying (and failing) to beat Intel in the CPU world. He now "has a problem" in Houston, Texas working Product Eng for TI on CPU's. John is still together with his wife Liz, two teenage sons and his Golden Retriever, Dipsie.
